Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate and rejuvenate the skin from within. Unlike dermal fillers, they don’t add volume or change facial contours; instead, they work by improving overall skin quality, texture, elasticity, and glow. Skin boosters are suitable for adults of all ages and skin types who want to improve skin texture, and hydration. They’re perfect for: • Tired, dull, or dehydrated skin • Early signs of ageing (fine lines, crepey texture) • Preventative skin ageing in younger clients • Mature skin seeking firming and revitalisation • Improving skin on the face, neck, décolleté, or hands

Your appointment will begin with a full skin consultation, where Nicky will assess your concerns and recommend the most suitable product. After cleansing the area, a series of micro-injections are placed just beneath the skin’s surface. The procedure typically takes 20–30 minutes and is well tolerated. A numbing cream can be applied if needed.

You may notice a subtle glow and hydration boost within a few days, but the full effects typically develop over 2–4 weeks. A course of 2–3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart is usually recommended for optimal, long-lasting results. Improvements in skin texture, elasticity, and radiance can last 6–9 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and skincare routine.

Skin boosters are minimally invasive with little to no downtime. Possible mild side effects include: • Redness or pinpoint swelling at injection sites • Mild tenderness or bruising • Itchiness or dryness for a few days post-treatment These effects are temporary and usually settle quickly.
