• Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated area for at least 24 hours unless advised otherwise by your practitioner.
 • Refrain from strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive heat (such as saunas, hot baths, steam rooms, or sunbeds) for 24–48 hours.
 • Sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated on the first night to help minimise swelling.
 • Use a cold compress (wrapped in a clean cloth) to help reduce swelling or mild discomfort—do not apply ice directly to the skin.
 • Avoid makeup on the treated area for at least 12 hours to reduce the risk of infection.
 • Stay well hydrated and eat nourishing meals to support recovery.
 • Avoid paracetamol and other blood thinners (such as ibuprofen or aspirin) for 24–48 hours post-treatment, as they can increase the risk of bruising.
